Creative Confections Boutique is a wedding and celebration cake studio located in the iconic, historic district of Evansville Indiana. We have also opened up a second cake studio with a country flair at our family farm in Brownstown, Illinois. Our cake creations are custom designed for each client, offering a unique variety of decadent cake flavors and fillings. Our cakes are lovingly made from scratch using only the finest ingredients and fresh fruit, resulting in the most tantalizing of cake flavors. Our buttercream is made from 100% unsalted butter, whipped to a cloud-like consistency.
Designer and co-owner, Leilani Deem, holds a B.S. in Studio Art and M.A. in Interactive Design. A passionate cake artist and former Wilton instructor, she has been creating beautiful wedding cakes for over two decades around her visual arts career and is now creating wedding and celebration cakes full time at her new cake studio since May 2019. Leilani’s daughter, co-owner Kylie Moore, is also a design graduate and is Creative Confection’s cake pop and macaron baker and creator. She has perfected her French macarons to a level of perfection in texture and taste while her cake pops are delightful in varying character designs and comes in a large variety of delicious cake flavors.
Leilani and Kylie are contemporary, always keeping abreast current trends in their wedding cakes and trending French desserts through workshops and collaboration with top cake artists around the country.
